Due to new stringent Forrest community regulations these are the ONLY access dated available to NEMAS and supporters.

Currently we are operating on a ONE key only access. So if you are intending to participate prior coordination is a must.

All cars MUST display permits.

February 4th – 5th. Event Prep. No after dark access. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

February 11th – 12th .Event Prep. No after dark access. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

February 18th – 19th. Event Prep. No after dark access. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

February 25th – 26th Event Prep. No after dark access. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

March 3rd -4th Event Prep. No after dark access. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

March 10th -11th Event Prep. Members may be onsite overnight.
THIS IS AMENDED. MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB HAS EXCLUSIVE USE PERMIT. As suggested by Adele. A good chance to get some work done on Kit or prefab in town.

March 17th – 18th Event Prep Members onsite overnight. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

March 24th – 25th Members may be onsite overnight. No tools or equipment to remain on site after weekend.

Second last Week prior to Event – Members onsite over night during the weekend.

March 30th – 5th April Event Prep. Last week prior to event – members and work crews from interstate and OS onsite over night throughout the week.

April 6th – 9th EVENT Exclusive Use

April 10th – 15th Members on site cleaning

April 15th - 16th Event – Public Open Day

Car Permits can be issued and must be signed by myself AND Talisien to those with good intentions.

The risk of the police being called about cars in the forest is very high, and the Forestry has agreed to let us have the cars in the forest only with permits clearly displayed on the dash at all times.

The responsibility of the key lies with one person within NEMAS and thus any time in the forest must be pre-organised for safe return of the key before sundown, and the person responsible must have an understanding of the importance of the rules and regulations.

Any breach of the restrictions placed upon us by the Forestry means there will be no Gathering this year and places all subsequent Gatherings at risk.

Sorry to say - March 10th/11th is a no go, the mountain bike people have an exclusive use / special permit for that day - i think they are having an endurance 24hr race or some such

Bo ho! that was our first allowed camping weekend.
Oh well. Its the way of the new regime.

We will be going to the forest TODAY to work on the flooring and rock works in the campsite.
If anyone wants car access I will have the key at the front gate at 10am Sunday 15th 2012
Come on out. The forest looks amazing atm with wild flowers every were. Its a good time to work on the campsites before the more general projects kick off.

Come on out to the forest this Saturday. Bring some gloves and good ideas.
I might just ride out their at dawn so when it suits come on out for a few hours?
I will be riding out at dusk. Any one want to ride out with me?

The forest is very restive atm and we can get some development done.
